Give yourself a natural energy boost! (Yields 12 balls)
1 ball is ½ a carb exchange
- 1 ½ cup oats
- 3 TBSP dark cocoa powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Generous pinch of sea salt
- 6 medjool dates (pits removed)
- 3 TBSP almond butter
- 3 TBSP maple syrup
- 3 TBSP chopped walnuts, toasted
- In a food processor , grind up the walnuts.
- Then add the rest of the ingredients and continue to mix.
- Roll into balls and place in the fridge to firm up. It should only take a minute or two.
