Ingredients:
2 ripe tomatoes
1/2 cucumber
1 small beetroot
1 stalk of celery
1/2 lemon
A small handful of fresh parsley
1/2-inch piece of fresh ginger
A pinch of sea salt
Optional: a dash of cayenne pepper for added heat
Instructions:
Wash all the vegetables and fruit thoroughly.
Core the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
Peel and chop the cucumber and beetroot into small pieces.
Chop the celery into smaller sections.
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
Peel the ginger and cut it into smaller chunks.
Add the prepared ingredients in a juicer or blender - tomatoes, cucumber, beetroot, celery, parsley, ginger, and lemon juice.
Process everything until you have a smooth consistency.
If using a blender, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to obtain the juice.
Add a pinch of sea salt and a dash of cayenne pepper to enhance the flavor if desired.
Stir the juice well to combine all the flavors.
Pour the tomato detox juice into a glass and serve it fresh.
